The möbius circle & colors
Big Sync's logo is defined by the two parts of the business and often was referred to as the left and right sections of the brain or a 'duet'. This influenced Big Sync’s two tone color palette. ‘Blue Persuasion’ represents the commercial licensing portion of the business, while ‘Channel Orange’ speaks to the creative custom music side. It was important to find two colors that not only paired well but holistically came together which created a wonderful gradient.

Reimagining Big Sync
Big Sync is a music licensing, custom composition, and sonic strategy agency pairing top artists, composers, and sound designers with the largest brands around the world.
Challenge
Evolve the brand's visuals to better match their growth into custom music composition without losing their roots of music licensing.
Solution
A large part of the ask was to represent the two pillars of the business. This led to the concept of 'The Duet' and it was the cornerstone of the visuals. The logo, colors, typography, brand guide, website, and motion graphics all were informed by The Duet. At its core one side represented creative custom music compositions while the other was grounded in strategic music licensing. The brand refresh transformed Big Sync – changing their established clients perceptions and allowing them pick up new business.
